One Giant Leap Australia and Geospatial Intelligence are offering ten high school students a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to receive a scholarship, valued at $1000, to attend Aerospace Camp Maroochydore.

Successful students will have the cost of their camp substantially reduced thanks to Geospatial Intelligence.

  • Exploring the wonders of astronomy and Australia’s night sky
  • Learning about Australia’s contributions to global space exploration
  • Investigating the Artemis Missions to the Moon and Mars
  • Designing and launching rockets, building galactic habitats, and creating robotic rovers
  • Problem-solving challenges using advanced materials
  • Understanding sustainable living on the Moon and Mars
  • Tracing the history of space travel and exploration

The program also includes captivating presentations by STEM specialists from the space and aerospace industries. These talks inspire participants to pursue STEM-related subjects and career pathways, providing valuable insight into the opportunities that await in these fields.

All students have to do is make a 2 minute video telling us why they want to be part of Aerospace Camp Maroochydore. Applicants will also have to include a letter of support from parents/guardian PLUS a letter of support from a respected member of the Community.

Applications close 19th July, 2026 at midnight AEDT.

Winners will be notified by 9 am on 26th July, 2026.
