Space industry leaders tour Australia to inspire young women

Aug 1, 2019

The Australian Space Agency was launched last year in a bid to grow the nation’s space industry.

But to achieve its goal of creating 20,000 new jobs in the sector by 2030, we’ll need a whole new generation of space professionals, and that includes inspiring more young women to join the STEM sector.

A team of NASA and Australian space industry leaders is currently on a tour of Australia to do just that.

Guests:
Susan Finley, test engineer, Jet Propulsion Lab, NASA
Lucy Keane, student, Xavier College in Western Sydney

Producer: Jessica Hill
