RMIT Space Industry Hub – Space Teams Academy 2025
RMIT will select 32 young space adventurers to form teams and compete in Space Teams Academy for FREE! From 6 – 10 July, the eight teams will represent RMIT and complete this virtual space mission.
As part of an RMIT mission team, students will design spacecraft, navigate to another planet, land their vehicle, build a planetary habitat, and explore a new planet to find resources to sustain human life. Students will have lessons from subject matter experts including astronauts, scientists and engineers who are directly involved in ongoing missions. These topics range from planetary science to spacecraft systems, orbital mechanics to robotic exploration.
The selected RMIT young astronauts will have an additional audience with Professor Gregory Chamitoff where they can delve further into the world of space exploration.
