Are you coming to the International Astronautical Congress in Sydney 2025? Bringing family? We are offering our Space For A Day program at IAC. For children aged 9 to 12 we are delivering interactive space activities to teach them about rockets, rovers, earth observation and more!
Through Monday 29th of September 2025 to Thursday the 2nd of October 2025 there will be morning sessions and afternoon sessions of Space For A Day.
Morning sessions will start at 8:30am to confirm registration for a 9:00am start.
Afternoon sessions will start at 12:30pm to confirm registration for a 1:00pm start.
Each day will have a different topic with different activities!
Monday will be themed around rockets, how they work and aerodynamics.
Tuesday is based around rovers, their design, construction and operation.
Wednesday’s theme is Earth Observation with a focus on sustainability, our environment and data science.
Thursday culminates in training like an astronaut, where students learn about communication and the challenges of working in space.
Places are limited and are allocated on a first come-first served basis.
