Free NASA JPL Teleconference

Apr 2, 2019

“Deep glacial ice is one of the most extreme environments on Earth, and yet life can survive. Without sunlight, in sub-freezing temperatures. What kinds of things live there? How do they survive? How do we detect it? This presentation will take us from field work on the Greenland Ice Sheet to an ice laboratory at Montana State University to the outer reaches of the Solar System as we look for life in extreme environments.”

Mike Malaska will be in Melbourne in July and your students can meet him [click here].
